Tallmadge is a suburb of Akron, Ohio and is home to about 17,500 residents, as of the 2010 census. Tallmadge is one of 22 cities in Summit County, but is often referred to as a city. While there are a lot of differences between cities and towns in Ohio, Tallmadge is the second oldest city in the county, after Hudson. Located approximately 35 miles southeast of Cleveland, Tallmadge has a population density of 1,253 people per square mile.
