The population of Valley Chapel City is comprised of two census blocks. Great Valley has two churches. The United Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church were both in operation prior to 1968. Another United Methodist Church in Sugartown operated until 1981. There is also the Healing Reigns Fellowship in Kill Buck. The median age of the population in Valley Chapel City is 41 years. The town has a very low unemployment rate. The majority of residents have a high education level. More than five-seven percent of Valley Chapel City residents have at least a master's degree or higher. There are only about 20 percent residents over 65.
