The current population of Frederick, Maryland is 235, a slight increase over the previous month's condensed count. During the first winter since the pandemic began, the homeless population has increased. Out of the 225 unhoused residents, 56 were children. A recent census of Frederick's homeless population reveals a large increase in unsheltered people. In addition to the large increase in unsheltered residents, the city has also seen a marked increase in the number of homeless people.
