Cayce is a city in South Carolina. The population was 12,528 at the 2010 census. The estimated population for 2019 is 14,009. It is the third-most populous municipality in Lexington County, South Carolina. It is located within the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is also part of the South Carolina Midlands region. The area has a long history of human habitation and has several Native American archaeological sites.
