The Fairless Works was located near the Levittown project. In 1951, the Levitt and Sons development company bought 5,750 acres of farmland near the Fairless Works factory to build a community. The company claimed to build the "most perfect planned community in America." Levitt & Sons built seventeen-hundred homes in six distinct models between 1952 and 1958.
