Population & Steets in Beexley City is a vital part of the history of Bexley, Ohio. It is a free-standing city with a mayor, city council, clerk of courts, police force, and department of revenue. The area was originally developed as a bedroom community for professors of Capital University. In 1907, a group called the Pleasant Ridge Improvement Association raised funds for infrastructure improvements in the neighborhood. Those improvements included sidewalks, paved roads, and a ban on large signs.
