Souris, North Dakota, is a city in Bottineau County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 58. Estimates for 2020 put the population at 53. The city was established in 1901 and is named for the Souris River. Its total area is 0.1 square miles or 0.3 km2. It is land-based. The city is the smallest of the six cities in the greater Souris area, but has a growing population.

In 2010, there were a total of 817 households in Souris City, with 32 households having children under the age of 18. A total of 59.5% of households were married couples, and a further 3.1% had a female householder living alone. The rest of the households were made up of non-families, with 18.8% of senior citizens living alone. The average household size was 2.59 persons and a family size of 3.43 people.
