Waccabuc, New York Statistic: Population, Charts, Map, Steets and More

The population of the city is relatively low, with the lowest concentration of crime near the city's main parks and airports. Even though Waccabuc has many recreation areas, the crime rate may seem higher than it actually is, as crime occurs everywhere. For example, a crime rate of one in one thousand in the city's east part is lower than that of the south part. The same is true for crime rates in residential areas.

The town of Waccabuc is the "secret suburb" of Westchester. A portion of the city's historic district is preserved by the Waccabuc Landowners Council, including Mead Street, which was used by the French Army to join General Washington. This section of the city's 524-acre historic district still looks much as it did in the late nineteenth century.
