The population of the city of Neshanic Station is approximately 5,395 people. It is located in the southeast corner of the state of New York, at the mouth of the Hudson River. The most comfortable months to live here are June, August, and September, with January being the least pleasant. The city is part of the New York metropolitan area, which is the largest in the country and fourth largest in the world. It is one of the most wealthy places to live in the United States.

The population of Neshanic Sta City is divided into four wards: west and south, and west. The eastern section of the city is bordered by the South Branch of the Raritan River. The south branch of the Raritan River is crossed by the Elm Street Bridge, a lenticular truss bridge. The city is also home to a branch of Somerset County Route 667.
