The city of Browerville is located in Todd County, Minnesota. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city was 790. The city is named for Jacob V. Brower, a prolific writer in the Upper Midwest, who promoted the protection of the headwaters of the Mississippi and Missouri rivers. He was born in Michigan and later moved to Minnesota. He was also a noted political figure, serving as County Attorney and Auditor of the county.
