The population of Masardis City, Maine is 204. The town is located in Aroostook County. According to the 2020 census, the population is expected to increase to 238 from the current estimated population of 204. In 1833, Thomas Goss moved from Danville, Maine to Masardis, where he settled on the west bank of the Aroostook River. He had previously lived on a farm owned by Pyles and Hutchinson. The family stayed in Masardis until 1840 when they moved to the Little Machias River and Fish River.
