The Ojai City Council approved a new map Tuesday that shifts the boundaries of the four council districts. Redistricting occurs every 10 years, and the process redraws district lines according to changes in local population. Each district is required to be approximately equal in population. Ojai City hired Sacramento-based Redistricting Partners for $70,000 to help the city redraw its map.
